Tournament Volunteers
Assist in the preparing for and executing all activities necessary
for Smoltz-Grissom wood bat classic. The tournament is scheduled
for May 25th – 28th, 2007 (Memorial Day Weekend). Job
duties include but may not be limited to: Scorekeeping 3 games,
or Announcing 3 games, or set-up, tear-down and selling of
merchandise at 3 games, or set-up scorekeeper/announcer booths
for 6 or more games, or tear-down scorekeeper/announcer booths
for 6 or more games, or preparing the fields (drag and wet
in-field and paint lines) for 6 or more games. Assist the
Tournament Director as needed.

Merchandise
Sales Coordinator
Responsible for selling merchandise at Opening Day, Closing
Day, and during tournament play. This includes set-up
and tear down of table and merchandise display, taking
orders, collecting money and distributing orders. |

Site Coordinator
The goal of the Site Coordinator is to be the eyes, ears,
and hands of the Tournament Director, making sure that
everyone who participants in the SMWBC tournament experiences
a well-organized event, a safe environment, a competitive
and professional atmosphere, courteous and respectful
service, and a “picture perfect” playing facility.

Data Entry
Operator
The data entry operator is the “heart beat”
of the tournament. This position is responsible for entering
crucial game statistics into a data base so that there
is accurate and timely information available at all times
which reflects every team’s standing in the tournament.
